Marketing
My Experience
Since starting in content marketing as a writer/editor in 2009, I’ve become a pioneering and inventive marketing executive, offering captivating content and progressive campaign messaging that delivers business growth, revenue expansion, brand awareness, client acquisitions, and profits. I excel at motivating high-performance teams with expert knowledge in SEO, website optimization, multitasking, diverse brand storytelling, data analysis, and multifaceted collaboration that leads cross-functional teams toward success.
My specialty is helping build marketing programs from the ground up, including developing the foundational strategy and brand messaging, building out customer journey maps and content funnels, and then taking a player/coach role in helping guide the team towards implementation while jumping in myself. I have experience conceptualizing and writing content for a wide variety of B2B and B2C audiences, including feature writing, copywriting, marketing and campaign copy, branding materials, newsletter copy, social media, and SEO-optimized content.
I regularly analyze data and performance to review for effectiveness of strategies and to determine how we can improve ROI, as well as ensure that the strategies are inline with business goals.
I am available for limited freelance work. Please reach out via my contact page for more information.

Client testimonials
Abbie freelanced for our team for more than a year, and she was a tremendous asset the entire time—detailed, creative, fast, and a joy to work with. She tackled projects big and small with the same level of enthusiasm, professionalism, and talent. She was never thrown off in the slightest when our timelines had to be tweaked last-minute. I would jump at any opportunity to work with Abbie again in the future, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly skilled, meticulous, and conscientious copywriter.
Abbie is a reliable, enthusiastic, and creative force. Her skill set is beyond the norm, as she is infinitely curious. She is willing to think out-of-the-box to problem solve and pursue growth. She is organized and dedicated, but maintains positivity and forward-thinking (even amidst chaos). If you ever get the chance to work with Abbie, take the opportunity! You’ll be so glad you did.
After writing for Abbie on several occasions, I can say she’s a highly organized, efficient and thoughtful editor. She’s clear and direct in communicating the expectations and vision for any given assignment. She excels in managing a heavy workload of editorial projects, all while promptly replying to emails and tying up loose ends. Surely a pleasure to work with!
I am so grateful to have worked with Abbie. She’s a thoughtful and attentive editor, and is also an incredibly generous mentor with her time and resources. I’m so fortunate to have been able to look to Abbie for guidance when I first transitioned to full-time freelancing, and her advice in those early days has stuck with me since. I’d jump onto a project with her anytime!
I worked with Abbie on syndicated content for our brand and she was always very professional. She has strong project management skills, is an effective communicator and helped us stay on track with tight deadlines. Abbie was very fun, personable and easy to work with!
