Earlier this week I launched a super exciting (to me at least ) website for my future business – CommunicatewithyourDog.com. I’ve been working really hard on getting it *just* right, but as I’m learning in 30 Days of Courage, part of having courage is accepting that it will never be perfect, so there it is – check it out!
I’m especially proud of my bio, which I worked through with Shenee Howard in her Hot Brand Action course. It was something that I really struggled with, and even though it was difficult to write, I’m happy with how it came out.
Hot Brand Action is a 4-week workshop with Brand Master-ess Shenee Howard and a group of 20 other people who have the same goals as you – to figure out and create your brand. Some of my takeaways from the course:
- Discovering the real reason behind why I am going into the dog world and how I can express that in my business (hint: it’s in my bio)
- Who my target market is and how I can write copy/create products designed with them in mind
- How to use the problems/questions my ideal client(s) have to create blog posts and tweets
- Once I did all the workshop exercises, figuring out my tagline/elevator pitch came naturally and pretty easily
