MDM Tip #12: When you use almost all of a gift card, give the card with the remaining balance to the person in line behind you. Even if it’s only a few cents, they will appreciate it!

And, if you use up the gift card, make a luggage tag out of it. That’s what I do! Good for the environment, and I’m the only person with an REI gift card as a tag!

That’s a cute idea! Now I know what to do with all those Starbucks cards I have in my wallet with only cents on them.
